Piece Overview
Digital illustration
Swirls of Sentience is a rich, flowing portrait of
the human heart — not drawn with harsh lines or bold outlines, but formed
entirely from delicate loops in deep shades of red. Each figure-eight swirl
builds on the last, creating a sense of quiet motion, like thought or memory
gently turning inwards.
Where Woven Core felt soft and reflective, this piece
leans into something a little more visceral. The reds are warm and layered —
from deep crimson to near-scarlet — giving the heart a kind of emotional heat,
as though it's been shaped by feeling, memory, and time.
It’s a heart that doesn’t just beat — it thinks. It
remembers. It holds things.
There’s something meditative about the repetition in the
strokes, but also something deeply human. It speaks to how we carry our
experiences — not in sudden bursts, but in loops and layers, patterns that
build up slowly and stay with us.
Swirls of Sentience is quiet, but it lingers — like a
thought you can’t quite shake, or a feeling that takes its time to leave.
